Kelemen Hunor announced on Facebook that, in just one week, over 291,000 lei were raised to support families in Praid and relaunch local tourism, as well as for people affected by the floods in Covasna County. The campaign benefited from the support of writers, musicians, actors and cultural institutions, including TIFF and the Bucharest National Opera. Hunor encouraged the continuation of donations, stressing that every contribution is important for the reconstruction of the affected area.
