On Sunday, 10,147 candidates participated in the residency contest in five university centers in Romania

The 'Carol Davila' University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest hosts the most candidates, with 3,881 registered. At the national level, there are 5,079 available places, and the most candidates are competing for the field of medicine, with 6,956 registered. The rector of UMF 'Carol Davila', Prof. Dr. Viorel Jinga, emphasizes the importance of this exam as a gateway to a medical career. The competition will take place in the form of a multiple-choice test, with 200 questions, and the results will be posted after confirmation from the Ministry of Health. Candidates have paid a fee of 500 lei to participate, and the allocation of places will be based on the scores obtained.
