Orbotix Industries has inaugurated a drone factory in Brașov. The announced capacity – up to 800 units per month.

Orbotix Industries is a company specialized in the development of drones, more precisely in the development of autonomous systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence for the defense and security sectors. Through the investment in Brașov, the company is expanding its industrial presence in Romania and entering a strategic sector that is undergoing rapid expansion at the European level.

During the inauguration, two panels dedicated to the defense industry and European cooperation in the field were organized. Discussions were attended by officials from Romania, Poland, and Spain, as well as representatives of companies and investment funds involved in the technology and security sector. The topics addressed included the expansion of local production, financing of "dual-use" technologies, and the challenges of harmonizing European regulations for the defense industry.
