Orange Romania recorded losses of 863.9 million lei, the first negative result in 20 years, following the merger with Telekom Romania Communications.

Orange Group has reported losses of RON 863.9 million for the Romanian market, the first time in the last two decades. This loss was generated by the absorption of Telekom Romania Communications, a process finalized in 2022. After the merger, the number of employees increased by 70% to 4,059 and the company's debts increased by more than 50%, totaling RON 10.9 billion. Turnover increased to RON6.55 billion in 2024.
