Meteorologists have issued an orange code for torrential rains and strong winds in the counties of Constanța and Tulcea, which has led to flooding and traffic blockages.

The authorities sent a Ro-Alert message, recommending the population not to leave their homes. Following the storm, firefighters intervened to rescue people trapped in cars and to clear the flooded streets. Material damages include fallen trees and damage to homes, and problems have also been reported in the localities of Tulcea County.
