Virgil Chirică, aged 46, was found dead in his villa in Voluntari. He was one of Cristian Borcea and Dan Șucu's business partners in a real estate project in the north of the capital. According to sources, Chirica left a suicide note on which he wrote "I am already asleep" before taking his own life.
