Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu announced that the selection process for the leadership of the Agency for Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Enterprises (AMEPIP) is in its final phase. The statutory leadership is expected to be appointed by November 27 at the latest. Gheorghiu specified that 48 companies, not just in the Energy sector, which have interim management, will begin the selection process to have permanent leadership by March 31, 2026.
The milestone regarding the reduction of interim management by at least 50% is on track to be achieved. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that additional details about appeals are not available, but confirmed that discussions with the European Commission are ongoing.
