Sibiu county registered over 3,500 foreign nationals at the end of last year, most of them workers from Nepal, Sri Lanka and India.

Nepalese workers top the list, followed by Sri Lankans, Indians and Bangladeshis. The director of Sibiu County Employment Agency, Cosmin Rosu, highlights the shortage of skilled labor for the jobs available on the local labor market.
