Temperatures in Romania will be close to the normal values for this period over the next four weeks, until November 9, according to estimates published Friday by the National Meteorological Administration (ANM).
During the October 12–19 period, average temperatures will be normal in all regions. Precipitation amounts, however, will be above usual levels in the regions outside the Carpathians and locally in the center of the country, with the highest values estimated in the south. In the west and northwest, precipitation levels will be below normal.
For the week of October 19–26, meteorologists estimate temperatures and precipitation close to normal across the entire country. The same trend is forecast for the October 26–November 2 period, when no significant deviations from climatological values are anticipated.
During the last week analyzed, November 2–9, average temperatures will remain close to those specific to the period throughout Romania. Precipitation amounts will also be normal in most of the country.
