President Nicușor Dan reacted to the report of the US Congress's legal committee, which contests the annulment of the presidential elections in Romania. He emphasizes that references to our country are strictly contextual and cannot replace legal assessments. Dan states that the decision to annul the elections was an act of protection of constitutional order, based on evidence of distortion of equality of opportunity and external influences, including from the Russian Federation.

He also mentions that TikTok has identified hidden influence networks and removed fake accounts. The Congress report, which accuses the European Commission of censorship, was dismissed by a spokesperson for the European Commission as absurd and unfounded.
