During a televised debate, Nicușor Dan condemned George Simion's comment, who called him "autistic", underlining that autism is a serious condition affecting many Romanians. Dan said that such jokes are unacceptable and mentioned his intention to refer the matter to the CNCD. Simion, after the criticism, apologized and clarified that he did not use the correct term, wanting to describe Dan with other political labels.
