Nicușor Dan, his first speech as president: "It won't be about the past, it's about Romania's immediate future. In the long term, we need a thorough reform"

Nicușor Dan, recently sworn in as president, highlighted in his speech the priorities in justice, asking prosecutors' offices to focus on the major areas of corruption. He underlined the importance of reforming the Judicial Inspection, reducing the time it takes to solve cases and redefining the procedures for promoting magistrates, also mentioning the need to reflect on the Constitutional Court law.
