President Nicușor Dan expressed his appreciation for the announcement of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM), which will review the draft law regarding judges' pensions, thus facilitating the assumption of responsibility by the Government. He emphasized that he never stated that judges' pensions should be 75% of their salary, but that the transition period should be a maximum of one year. Additionally, Nicușor Dan welcomed the Constitutional Court's decision to postpone the hearing on the AUR's request regarding the increase of local taxes and the dividend tax, considering it a responsible gesture. CSM announced that it will convene the general assemblies of the courts and prosecutor's offices to discuss the draft law on November 24 and 25.
