In an interview, he emphasized that, although intelligence services should identify potential dangers, in this case they were caught off guard by the technological ability that influenced the elections.

Nicușor Dan mentioned that he spoke with a foreign diplomat, who confirmed that other countries were also surprised by this phenomenon.

He added that once the report is finalized, those responsible in the SRI will have to answer for negligence. The president also emphasized that part of Georgescu's campaign was directed from Moscow.
