In a press conference, President Nicușor Dan provided clarifications regarding NATO's nuclear umbrella and the relationship with France. He emphasized that since Romania's accession to NATO, the country benefits from the protection provided by the United States, without needing the presence of nuclear elements on Romanian territory.

Nicușor Dan stated that, in the medium term, there is no question of hosting nuclear components in Romania. He also mentioned the historical relationship with France, highlighting the presence of French soldiers in Romania and the importance of this collaboration in the context of regional security.
