Nicușor Dan wants to relaunch cooperation with Austria through the Danube Strategy, in an effort to capitalize on naval transport in the region

During a three-day official visit to Austria, President Nicușor Dan held talks with Chancellor Christian Stocker to underline the potential for cooperation between Romania and Austria, emphasizing the importance of the Danube Strategy. Mr. Dan said that it was time to start a new chapter in bilateral relations, after a tense period, and addressed topics such as regional development and the integration of the Romanian community in Austria. The visit will end with the premiere of the opera "Giulio Cesare in Egitto".
