President Nicușor Dan stated on Europa FM that, in his opinion, there were abuses during Laura Codruța Kovesi's terms at the helm of the General Prosecutor's Office and the DNA.

Dan emphasized that many voices in society argue that the justice system has been used to eliminate political opponents, which represents a serious problem that requires documentation. He also commented on a possible entry into politics for Laura Codruța Kovesi after the end of her term at the European Prosecutor's Office, stating that she has extensive experience and knowledge accumulated in her various roles. Nicușor Dan left open the option for Kovesi to decide how she will leverage these competencies in the future.
