Nicolae Ciucă, former Prime Minister of Romania, has made the transition from politics to business, becoming the administrator of the company ArmShield SRL, established in March 2026.

This firm has as its main activity the manufacturing of military aircraft and spacecraft. Although the company has not presented information about products or contracts, Ciucă takes on a new challenge in the defense sector, having experience as a former Chief of Staff and Minister of Defense. During his term, the government was marked by political stability, but also by price increases and delayed reforms, culminating in a failed presidential candidacy.

In the November 2024 elections, Ciucă obtained only 8.79% of the votes, which led to his resignation from the leadership of PNL. Although his new business holds promise, concrete results will be essential for his success in this field.
