Nicholas S. Kass, a former executive director in Romania, has been named acting chairman of the National Intelligence Council (NIC), playing a key role in U.S. national security strategic analysis. With over 30 years of experience in public service, Kass brings valuable expertise in international relations and European affairs. His appointment reflects a shift in strategy for President Tulsi Gabbard's administration, given his ties to Donald Trump's previous policies. Kass will contribute to strengthening Romanian-American relations by having direct contacts with Romanian authorities.
