Labor Minister Florin Manole has announced a national campaign to combat undeclared work in construction, stressing that respect for workers starts with respecting the law. In just six days, labor inspectors have uncovered 600 'illegal' workers and imposed sanctions worth more than 10 million lei. The campaign aims not only to remedy irregularities but also to raise awareness of the risks of non-compliance with labor laws, protecting workers' rights and preventing accidents.
