The company Napolact, part of FrieslandCampina Romania, will close 40 establishments in Timis, Cluj, Dolj, Bihor and other counties, following a technical update of the CAEN code. These establishments, some of which have been inactive for more than 10 years, have been struck off the Trade Register, but this decision will not affect current operations. FrieslandCampina has announced global layoffs and cost-cutting measures, but has recently opened a new logistics center in Romania to strengthen its market presence. Napolact remains an important brand in the Romanian dairy sector.
