The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) issued a statement to correct erroneous information about the E-Sigur System, following accusations made by Cătălin Drulă. MAI emphasized that the system is not blocked, but is in the technical integration stage. Implementing a national traffic monitoring system requires more than just the existence of video cameras, including infrastructure, algorithms, and cybersecurity.
