ELCEN, a company predominantly controlled by the Romanian state through the Ministry of Energy, has appointed a second interim general director, Mirela-Adriana Pavel, starting from November 8, 2025, for a period of two months. Mirela-Adriana Pavel, who has been a member of the Board of Directors since August 2023, has over two decades of experience in the legal and managerial fields.

ELCEN, the largest producer of thermal energy in Romania, provides heating for approximately 550,000 apartments in Bucharest and significantly contributes to the national energy system.
