The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, stated that the courts will decide the solutions for illegal constructions on the coast, emphasizing that the process will take years. In a recent report, it was found that over 4000 constructions, including blocks of flats, have been built on land that should have been public property. Buzoianu mentioned that some buildings, such as beach bars and restaurants, have already begun to be demolished.

In Năvodari, dozens of illegal constructions have been identified and the necessary measures have been taken. The minister also emphasized that the report on the land situation was requested three years ago, but it was blocked due to major interests at play. Now, the report is public and accessible to all citizens.
