Although the recently adopted law abolishes taxation on pensions up to 3,000 lei, this measure does not apply to military pensions that have a non-contributory component. At the request of General Nicolae Ciucă, the Ministry of Finance is expected to put a draft law on the table for public debate to remedy the situation.
