The first two prototypes of military drones, Cuda and Sirin, have been delivered to the Carfil company in Brașov, where they will enter series production. These drones, improved by Periscope Aviation, are intended for reconnaissance and attack, having advanced capabilities to operate in difficult conditions, such as jamming in the border area of Ukraine. The Cuda drone, with a maximum level of protection against jamming, will be tested in this area. The Sirin model can carry up to 15 kilograms and can be equipped with thermobaric bombs, having the ability to penetrate bunkers and pillboxes.
Carfil has established a Center of Excellence for Drone Pilots, where pilots will be trained by American and French specialists, using advanced simulators. The company has also developed a multiple rocket launcher, HIDRA, which can collaborate with the Cuda drone to identify and destroy enemy targets from distances of up to 6 kilometers. The Cuda and Sirin drones could enter series production by the end of the year.
