Energy Minister Bogdan presented on Facebook three key measures to reduce the price of electricity in Romania by the end of 2026. These include the development of renewable energy production, with 3,200 MW installed by 2026, the modernization of transmission and distribution networks with investments of over 6 billion lei and support for prosumers, with a target of 250,000 prosumers. These initiatives aim to increase local production and reduce dependence on imports.
