Marius Voineag, the current head of the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA), gave an interview to become the deputy of the Attorney General of the Prosecutor's Office next to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, being the only candidate for this position. Voineag proposes the implementation of a pilot project that would use artificial intelligence, trained by prosecutors, to improve investigations, especially in the environmental field.

He emphasized that the efficiency of a service's activity often depends on a single individual. Voineag also mentioned the need for legislative change to strengthen the criminal prosecution of corrupt magistrates, believing that DNA has the necessary capabilities to investigate these facts. Additionally, he acknowledges that a mistake in the leadership of DNA was overly technical communication, advocating for a more accessible approach. Voineag bases his candidacy on the desire to improve public perception of the Prosecutor's Office and to promote an exchange of good practices with DNA.
