On Tuesday night, two Typhoon aircraft deployed at the Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base carried out border surveillance missions with Ukraine after drone attacks on Ukrainian ports were identified. The action, carried out by the German Air Force, aimed to ensure the security of Romanian airspace. Although an RO-Alert message was issued to the population in the northern Tulcea county, informing about possible falling objects from the air, the mission ended without incident. The incident underlines the importance of international cooperation to maintain security in the context of regional tensions.
