On the night of July 20-21, the radar systems of the Ministry of National Defense reported aerial targets in Ukrainian airspace near Romania. Ukrainian authorities dispersed military aircraft in the west of the country due to Russian attacks. MApN informed civilian air traffic structures and sent two Romanian F-16s for reconnaissance. Twelve targets were detected, four of which temporarily penetrated Romania without affecting national security. The missions ended safely.
