Makaveli, the former advisor of Diana Șoșoacă, placed under judicial control for tax evasion

The Prosecutor's Office next to the Bucharest Tribunal placed the influencer Makaveli, whose real name is Alexandru Zidaru, under judicial control on Friday, after he was detained on Thursday evening in a tax evasion case.

He is being investigated along with three other individuals, being suspected of not having registered total income of over 3.3 million lei from content creation activities, which would have caused a damage of approximately 580,000 lei.

Investigators announced that Makaveli needed medical care during the hearings, after he was reportedly harmed.

The influencer is known for his promotional campaigns, including for Călin Georgescu, and for his connections with Diana Șoșoacă. It is worth mentioning that he even entered the race for the Bucharest City Hall, but later withdrew in favor of Ancă Alexandrescu.
