Maia Sandu, the president of the Republic of Moldova, reacted on Sunday after a third Russian drone was shot down in Romanian airspace, thus condemning the systematic violations of it by Russia.
In a post on X, Maia Sandu emphasized the importance of Romania's security, stating that it is directly linked to the security of the Republic of Moldova. She praised the professionalism and courage of the Romanian Air Forces in managing these incidents, mentioning that Romania is part of NATO and the European Union. Additionally, Maia Sandu assured that Moldova stands alongside Romania in the face of these challenges.
The downed drone was identified over the Black Sea, 12 km from Sulina, marking the third consecutive day of such incidents.
