Loredana Pălănceanu, a 29-year-old mathematics teacher, has managed to attract over 200,000 students on social platforms, using TikTok to make mathematics more accessible and friendly. The mathematics teacher has transformed teaching into a pleasant experience, actively interacting with students through live sessions and exercises.

Although she is appreciated by students and parents, she acknowledges the challenges of the Romanian educational system, including the workload and low salaries. She teaches at two schools, commuting daily, and emphasizes the importance of reducing bureaucracy and reforming the curriculum. Loredana Pălănceanu believes that education must be attractive to young people and that functional illiteracy cannot be attributed solely to teachers, but is the result of complex systemic issues.
