<p>Lipovon, a dietary supplement heavily promoted on TikTok, contains sibutramine, a drug in the amphetamine family, which is not labeled on the product. Many women have reported serious side effects, including palpitations and muscle weakness, and some have ended up in hospital. Sibutramine, banned in the EU since 2010, can cause serious health problems, including heart attacks. Authorities in Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium have issued health alerts and online sales of Lipovon continue despite the risks.
