In an intervention at Digi24, the mayor of Craiova, Lia Olguța Vasilescu, emphasized that the public administration reform requested by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan cannot be implemented in its current form. She mentioned that the PSD has proposed solutions to avoid the lack of public services after layoffs, but no clear decisions have been made following recent consultations. Vasilescu highlighted the disparities between municipalities and called for legislative clarifications, warning that staff reductions could lead to the inability to provide essential services.
