In an interview for Recorder, judge Raluca Moroșanu discusses the serious problems in the Romanian judicial system and the lack of transparency at the Bucharest Court of Appeal. She expresses her solidarity with her colleague Laurențiu Beșu, emphasizing that the legislative changes in 2022 have concentrated power in the hands of the court president, Liana Arsenie. Moroșanu states that judges are no longer consulted in management decisions and that rulings are communicated without transparency. She compares the situation to that of employees in a private company, where decisions are imposed without team involvement. The judge takes on the responsibility to meet the expectations of the public and her colleagues, motivated by the desire to change things in Justice.
