Businessman Jean Paul Tucan has been sent to trial by the European Prosecutor's Office: he allegedly built a property intended for residential use with funds meant for a recreational tourist port.

Jean Paul Tucan (56 years old), the owner of one of the most important companies in Constanța County, was sent to trial on August 12, 2025, by the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), being accused of changing the destination of funds or assets obtained or retained from the European Union budget.
