Ionuț Moșteanu, the Minister of Defense, stated that the Romanian Army is well prepared and continues to train, with most exercises being conducted together with NATO allies.
The statement was made in the context of questions regarding Romania's preparedness in the face of a potential aggression from the Russian Federation.
Moșteanu mentioned the Dacian Fall exercise, the largest of this year, which involves over 5,000 soldiers from several European countries, especially France, and takes place at seven ranges in Romania.
He also emphasized the importance of the NATO defense umbrella, considering it a major advantage for Romania and an essential element of collective defense.
The Romanian Army is constantly training, collaborating with allies to strengthen its defense capabilities.
