Ionuț-Cristian Săvoiu, former Secretary of State in the Ministry of Transport, reacted to the accusations of interim minister Radu Miruță regarding the 21 unused trains from Gara Obor. Săvoiu stated that, recently, 'concrete steps' have been taken to unblock the situation, mentioning that technical meetings and on-site checks have taken place. He emphasized that PESA, the supplier of the trains, has been informed that it must comply with contractual obligations. Săvoiu asserted that the trains are not unused due to the Romanian state and criticized Miruță's lack of knowledge of the law. Radu Miruță previously accused the bureaucracy that led to the stagnation of train usage, which are now at risk of going out of warranty.
