MEP Ionel Bogdan draws attention to the erroneous discussions in the public space regarding the purchase of school minibuses through the PNRR. He points out that prices with and without VAT are being compared, causing confusion. Bogdan also explains that initially 3,200 electric minibuses with 8+1 seats were discussed, but after consultation with the municipalities, it was decided to purchase mostly 16+1 seat minibuses, which are more efficient for transporting pupils. This led to a decrease in the total number of vehicles purchased, although the budget remained the same.
