Ion Iliescu, former President of Romania, remains hospitalized at the 'Prof. Dr. Agrippa Ionescu' Clinical Emergency Hospital, in the intensive care unit. His general condition is stable, with a tendency of slight improvement, and he is receiving adapted treatment and physiotherapy. At the age of 95, Mr. Iliescu suffers from multiple chronic illnesses and was recently diagnosed with a severe lung disease that has worsened his health.
