Ion Iliescu, former President of Romania, has been hospitalized in the Agrippa Ionescu Hospital in Bucharest since June 9, having respiratory problems and diagnosed with lung cancer. The hospital announced that he is conscious and cardiovascular stable, but requires supplemental oxygen and respiratory assistance. Iliescu is receiving specific treatment and advanced medical care in the intensive care unit, with a multidisciplinary medical team monitoring his health. Hospital representatives will provide updates on his progress.
