Prosecutors in Bucharest are investigating four people and three companies for non-payment of salary contributions for two years, generating a loss of more than 5.3 million lei. The companies involved, managed through intermediaries, were forced into insolvency to avoid recovering the sums owed to the state. Following the searches, luxury goods and large sums of money were seized. The Public Prosecutor's Office underlines the seriousness of tax evasion and its commitment to fight these crimes.
