Operation Global Chain, which ran from June 1-6, involved almost 15,000 officers from 43 countries and aimed to combat human trafficking. 1,194 victims were identified, mainly from Romania, Ukraine, Colombia and China. The actions targeted sexual exploitation and forced delinquency, with a focus on minors. Notable achievements included the disruption of trafficking networks in Brazil, Italy and Ukraine. Almost one million people were stopped and seizures included drugs, weapons and €277,000 in cash.
