Bucharest City Hall announces that the Integrated Air Quality Plan (PICA) will be approved by the General Council by the end of August 2026. Until then, a study on air quality will be finalized and the municipality is working with the European Commission to develop the document. The PICA will include measures to reduce pollution and integrate local projects, while transitional measures, such as modernizing public transport and creating bicycle lanes, are already being implemented.
