In H1 2025, 17,639 residential building permits were issued, up 4.2% from H1 2024.

NSI data show that 17,639 building permits for residential buildings were issued in the first semester of 2025, an increase of 4.2% compared to the previous semester. Most permits were issued in the West, North-West and Center regions. In June 2025, 3,505 permits were issued, with a total usable area of 1,064,306 sq.m., mostly for rural areas. Compared to June 2024, the number of permits increased by 21.9% and usable floor area increased by 70.1%. Nonresidential building permits also increased 32.7% compared to the same month last year.
