STB announces changes on several public transport lines in Bucharest, including tram 44 and seven bus lines

Starting from Monday, July 6, the Bucharest City Hall announces significant changes in the circulation of public transport STB, following the opening of a new construction site for the rehabilitation of tram tracks and works on the water supply and sewage network in the Foișorului de Foc area.

Tram 44 will only operate between 'Cartier Giulești' and 'Gara Basarab', and the rehabilitation works will affect a sector of 1.8 kilometers. Additionally, seven bus lines will have modified routes, including line 105, which will operate on an adapted route via Witting Street. The 'Gara Basarab' and 'Gara de Nord' stops will be temporarily suspended, and passengers are advised to check the routes before departure.

Trolleybus 79 will operate on a modified route due to works on the water network, however, lines 86 and 97 will not be affected. The modifications will last approximately one year, and authorities recommend using alternative routes.
