Buried septic tanks in sand, discovered on the beaches of Năvodari and Margona. The Minister of the Environment announces inspections: This is the "wild west"!

The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, informed that, following inspections carried out on the beaches of Năvodari, new illegal installations were discovered, namely septic tanks buried in the sand.

Although an illegal gas tank of 2600 liters was initially found, which was damaged by machinery, no other gas tanks have been identified. So far, three septic tanks have been identified on the beaches of Năvodari and three on Margona beach, and some of them have already been removed by intervention teams.

Buzoianu emphasized that the beaches have been treated as the "wild west" and promised that economic operators will face legal consequences for these violations.

Control actions will continue along the coast.
