Ilie Bolojan announced that next week he will submit again the reform project for judges' pensions, which stipulates that pensions should not exceed 70% of their salary. In an interview, he emphasized that there will be discussions in the coalition to maintain this threshold and that by Tuesday a response will be obtained.

Bolojan mentioned that it is essential to submit payment request no. 4 from the PNRR, worth 2.5 billion euros, which is independent of the previous request. On October 20, the Constitutional Court of Romania rejected the previous project, arguing that the lack of CSM approval and the failure to meet the 30-day deadline by the Government violates the Constitution. Bolojan believes that his proposal is fair and correct towards judges.
