In a speech delivered on the occasion of Army Day, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that we are living in a complex period, in which peace is no longer guaranteed, and defense does not depend only on soldiers and equipment, but on the entire society. He highlighted the need to restore order in public finances and to correct internal injustices, while externally, the war in Ukraine has changed regional stability.
Bolojan emphasized the importance of strengthening the army and the defense industry, mentioning that a significant part of the budget will be allocated for training, modern equipment, and protecting critical infrastructure. The Prime Minister attended the ceremony organized in Carei, reaffirming Romania's commitment to being prepared for current challenges.
